• What this Name teaches us: Al-A’laa means that Allah is the Most High. He is above everything in existence, and nothing is greater, more powerful, or more magnificent than Him.
• Seeing this quality in everyday life: When we look up at the vast blue sky, the high mountain peaks, or the distant stars at night, we are reminded of how grand the universe is, and that Al-A’laa is above it all, taking care of everything.
• Finding comfort and guidance: Knowing Allah is Al-A’laa brings immense comfort. No matter how big a problem feels to a child, Allah is higher and greater than any worry. We can always look up and make dua (supplication) to Him, knowing He sees us and has the power to help us.
