What is the LearningKeel philosophy?
Our Mission: Empowering every child’s innate desire to succeed by providing the authentic tools, tactile resources, and steady support they need to thrive.
At LearningKeel, we focus on the "human factor" of literacy and learning. We provide the tactile resources, authentic curricula, and encouragement needed to help children become confident communicators.

Spiritual Foundations

How do I teach my child about Allah from a young age?

I recommend starting with Book 1 from the Most Beautiful Names of Allah series.

I want my child to pray with more khushu (concentration).

Understanding the meaning of Fatihah is essential for establishing a relationship with Allah. Read more here: The Meaning of Fatihah.

I am not sure how to teach my child how to make wudu.

Check out The Angel Jibreel Teaches Wudu' and Salah. It is often most effective to teach by modeling the actions in front of them.

I don’t think I know enough about Allah to teach my children.

Academic Support

I want to teach my four-year-old, but I don't know where to begin.

The best place to start is with The First Classroom.

I am worried my hifz student is falling behind in academics.

Keep your hifz student up to date with The Balancing Act.

My child can’t memorize the times table.

Try using an abacus to show the multiples; the tactile experience can make a big difference.

My son is 8 years old and can’t read yet.

I suggest using Alpha-phonics in conjunction with cursive writing.

My child doesn't understand what a thousand is.

Use Base-Ten blocks for a tactile reference to help them visualize the scale.

Homeschool Organization

I feel like my house is a mess and I'm so disorganized. How can I homeschool?

Try anchoring your day with salat. I explain this method in The Sacred Rhythm.
