Sensory & Kinesthetic Expansion Guide

As an educator with over 30 years of experience, I know that children learn best when they move. Use these activities to turn a lesson into a lasting memory.

🏃👥 The "Blindfold Walk" (Trust/Kinesthetic): To understand Al-Baseer (The All-Seeing), have the child close their eyes while you lead them by the hand. Discuss how even when we cannot see, Allah sees everything.

👂 Sound Matching (Auditory): For As-Samee' (The All-Hearing), hide a ticking clock or play soft nature sounds. Have the child find the source, connecting it to Allah hearing our quietest whispers.

🧠 Imagination Exercise: For the Oneness of Allah, ask the child to imagine what would happen if there were two Gods. What would happen if they disagreed? This helps them internalize the concept of Tawheed.

Book 2 Overview: Oneness & Knowledge

  • The Names we learn: This set includes Al-Ahad (The One), Al-Baseer (The All-Seeing), and As-Samee’ (The All-Hearing).
  • Clear and simple: The minimalist layout keeps children focused on the words, making it ideal for those who get overwhelmed by busy visuals.
  • Who it’s for: Great for students working on active listening and observational skills.
