Sensory & Kinesthetic Expansion Guide

As an educator with over 30 years of experience, I know that children learn best when they move. Use these activities to turn a worksheet into a lasting memory.

Book 10: Generosity & Beauty

Names: Al-Mannan, Al-Kareem, Ash-Shafee, etc.

💦 The "Water Pour" (Sensory): For Al-Kareem (The Generous), have the child pour water from a pitcher into a cup until it overflows into a tray. This visualizes "Abundance" and the overflowing nature of Allah's generosity.

✋ The "Cooling Compress" (Tactile): For Ash-Shafee (The Healer), use a cool, damp cloth on the forehead or hands. Discuss the physical sensation of relief and how Allah is the ultimate source of all healing.

🏃 Vitality Challenge (Kinesthetic): Host a short, safe breath-holding contest to observe our natural limits. Discuss how Al-Kareem generously sustains our breathing every second without any effort on our part.
