The first lesson brings students into the new city where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his followers are building the first Islamic government. Lesson 1: A New City
Imagine having the best neighbor: Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. What did his house look like? Did he live in a castle or mansion like leaders today? (Ref: Page 6)
Lesson 2: The Adhan
By the second year of Hijrah, the population grew. There was a need to call the community to Salaah. The Prophet ﷺ sought advice from his Sahabah. (Ref: Page 8)
Lesson 3: The Rules of Madinah
As a leader for all, the Prophet ﷺ established an agreement between the Muslims, non-Muslim Arabs, and Jewish tribes. (Ref: Page 10)
Lesson 4: Betrayal & Threats
The Quraysh threatened 'Abdullah bin Ubai, demanding he expel the Prophet ﷺ or face attack. (Ref: Page 12)
Lesson 5: Permission to Fight
Defenders were sent to the city edges to ensure safety as threats from enemy tribes grew. (Ref: Page 14)
Lesson 6: The Battle of Badr
When the fighting was furious, Allah answered the Prophet’s du’a by sending a thousand angels in succession! (Ref: Page 16)
Lesson 7: After Badr (Mercy to Prisoners)
Prisoners were treated with dignity. Those who couldn't pay for freedom were released after teaching ten children to read and write. (Ref: Page 17)
Lesson 8: The Battle of Uhud
In the heat of battle, the Prophet ﷺ was injured. Despite the confusion and loss of focus, the Sahabah's love for him remained unshakable. (Ref: Page 19)
